For Kids: The Goodbye Issue – Aug. 2025
Overview
Attention NYT Kids readers! We’ve got some good news, and some sad news. First, the sad. This is the last-ever print issue of The New York Times for Kids. That’s right: After eight years and nearly 100 issues, the print section is coming to an end. (Sniff!) But before you break out the tissues, don’t fret! For our final print issue, we’ve thrown ourselves the ultimate goodbye party — and everyone’s invited!
This issue of the New York Times for Kids, originally published August 31, 2025, is our one last hurrah. We’ve got lots of news, lots of fun, lots of trips down memory lane, and lots of kids’ voices!
